El grupo de estudio de Política Antibiótica (ESGAP) de la Sociedad Europea de Enfermedades Infecciosas y Microbiología Clínica (ESCMID) ha coordinado, con participación del grupo de trabajo de Antimicrobial Stewardship de la International Society of Chemotherapy (ISC), una encuesta global sobre Antimicrobial Stewardship.
Pretende poder trazar un mapa de la situación de este tipo de programas a nivel mundial, con la idea de poder definir estándares y establecer comparaciones que permitan contribuir a la mejor organización de este tipo de programas
La encuesta se responde on-line, a través del siguiente enlace en aproximadamente 30 minutos. Nosotros la hemos hecho e independientemente de la utilidad que tenga en el futuro el análisis de las respuestas de forma agregada, el realizarla tiene utilidad para el encuestado permite repasar las principales intervenciones que se pueden realizar desde los PROA así como de diferentes aspectos organizativos de este tipo de programas, por lo que creemos que resulta una actividad útil a todos aquellos profesionales implicados en este tipo de problemas.
La fecha límite para responder es el 20 de abril

ESGAP/ISC Worldwide Antimicrobial Stewardship Survey
On behalf of ESGAP [ESCMID STUDY GROUP FOR ANTIBIOTIC POLICIES] & ISC [INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR CHEMOTHERAPY], we invite you to complete the first worldwide survey on Antimicrobial Stewardship. The survey is based on previous national surveys from around the world, and has been piloted and refined across all five continents. The results will be presented at each both ISC & ESCMID meetings, and data will be available to allow continental, national and local benchmarking of antimicrobial stewardship programmes.
We would like one person from each hospital to complete the survey. It would be helpful, where appropriate, if you could disseminate this survey link through your contacts or organisations. The survey uses the web-based software SurveyMonkey®. It will take between 30 to 45 minutes to complete the survey completely. Could you please complete the survey NO LATER THAN MARCH 19TH 2012. After this time we will not be able to include your data in the analysis for ECCMID 2012 but we are still happy to hear from you. THE FINAL DEADLINE DATE IS 10/4/2012.
We have also sent you a PDF version of the survey to allow people to know what information is needed (click on icon on right), but we need the survey completed on line to analyse the results.
